I hate to be a cry baby but the whole "write on my wall" thing was totally my idea. I've been writing on walls/getting people to write on other peoples' walls/walling on writes for decades if not years. Leave it to the big corporations like Facebook and Myspace to take someone's cute idea and turn it into an ad-pumping business.

You spoke at my school today, and I have to say, even though you weren't really talking about smoking, which was why you were there, you made our whole school laugh! Everyone was talking about you for the rest of the day and quoting your stories. I've got to say, that that was the best assembly by FAR that we have had at OD and I am in grade 11. I agree wholeheartedly with the people who are making comments about how lousy Much Music has become over the years; but you're one of the very few bright spots on the entire station, Sabrina. You're gonna hit it big soon (not that you haven't done well already), so keep it up.
And don't take the insults on here personally - there are a lot of Charlie Sheen and Tim Allen fans out there, and they can't come to grips with the fact that not everyone can be as comedically gifted as people like that.

Hey. I've seen your columns in the Toronto Star, but I usually just fly-by looking for the comics. Little did I know, you yourself are a comic. So sorry I've missed out. You seem pretty funny. I'll be sure to read more columns.
Anyhow, the first one I read got me laughing really hard. You were joking around about the internet frustration of needing the correct username and passwords. I cut out the article and kept it.
Normally, I use the same password, as it's really secure, but I've found another little frustration and thought I'd share it with you. The authorizing of your registration on a site. I'm trying to sign up for the program "Qtrax", and it hasn't sent me an email to authorize, but the program insists on me checking my mailbox for it. After clicking the link to try to send it again, it still doesn't send. Trying to sign up again is a pain because technically, my chosen username is now in their system, and if I want to try with a new user name, I must also have a different email to sign up with. And after finally entering completely different info in those boxes, it STILL won't send an email to my newly assigned email! This, along with accepting I am from Canada but only allowing numeric Zip Codes (*required), made me instantly think right back to your article.
Just thought I'd share that with you! I'll be sure to watch for your name, wouldn't mind seeing your comic routines.

A year ago you came to the school to talk to a class or something about public speaking…(I think) what’s kind of cool is that an hour before you came I did stand up for the first time at our school assembly….I just thought that the coincidence of one successful comedian from our school shows up the same day as my first time performing seems some what meaningful. Anyway, in Waterloo there is little to no local comedic resources, but I have recently found many students having interests in starting up. The range of people goes from a 230 pound football player that's 17 years old, to a fourth year math student. I had the idea of having a comedy show at the university to showcase them in an amateur comedy night in the first week of March. I then had the idea of making it a charity event by making it free, but that audience members would bring as much unwanted loose change they had. Thus calling it "The Loose Change Comedy Night" and having all the money donated to the local Women's Shelter or some other needy charity. However, it then struck me that although each comedian (including myself) had their heart in the right place, we all still perform at an amateur level. That is why I am emailing every comedian in Toronto and trying to convince them to come and perform as a headliner so that we don't entirely suck. Now I can't pay for transportation, because frankly I have no money, and I know you are busy, but if you can't contact me or come, please pass on this email to someone who would be able to. I don't expect anything...but all I'm trying to do is let some good hearted aspiring comedians (again, including myself) get their foot in the comedy door, and help some people/charities that need it. I care about this... So please consider it...or pass it on to someone who might be able to...please email me back with a yes or no answer...I'd just like to know that you got this message so that I know this is not a completely lost cause. Thank you for reading such a long post and I'll wait for your reply.
